About Dan
Dan has had a lifelong interest in animals, specifically dogs.
"I grew up with English Bull Terriers - fantastic dogs! When I left the army (Paratrooper) I couldn't afford one, so adopted a Pit Bull (because it sounded pretty similar!) Wow! Very different dogs! I really needed to learn how to train this breed - and I've been hooked ever since!!!"
Dan trained with Laurie Fass in CT (radio show on WTIC) for several years. He wanted to take training to the next level so moved to work with Robert Tragessor (Robert's wife, Vicki Hearns – wrote the book that inspired Dan to learn more). Dan then moved to MD & apprenticed with Margo Wood. He loved the shore so much - he stayed and began his own business!
Dan has also participated in and hosted several National Dog Trainer Conferences across the country!
